WE NEED YOU -- YOUR VOICE IS NEEDED: HELP STOP CHINA’S CRUELTY
All around the world at the Chinese embassies and consulates people are
gathering to protest China's violence against the thousands and thousands of
North Korean refugees who have fled starvation and persecution in their
homeland. Rather than working with the United Nations, humanitarian
organizations and countries willing to resettle the refugees like South Korea
and the United States, the Chinese authorities round up the refugees and force
them back to North Korea to face torture, imprisonment and sometimes even
execution for fleeing their homeland. The Chinese authorities jail humanitarian
workers who try to help and block the refugees from reaching foreign
embassies to seek asylum. You can help end this cruel policy by raising your
voice together with thousands of people who will be gathering in different cities
all over the world calling on China to end their brutal policy. Please join these
upcoming events here in Washington, D.C.:
